Spent National Day wearing red and white and shopping in JB. My dad took the little flag off of our car to ward off any unnecessary provocation and on the way back kept saying, "The SECOND we cross the causeway, we put up the flag ok." Then of course at home we caught the fireworks at the end of the National Day parade broadcast and went away until Troy started. Stupid Channel 5 cut out so many of the hotter Achilles scenes.

It was also quite jarring to learn that I would have to miss my cousin's (who is my age) wedding next February because ima be in college learning stuff. It's weird that you can share a childhood and then bang, take completely different roads. Two roads diverged in a yellow wood and I chose the one that leads hopefully to magical Oz.
